This is a cute little project I did for my girls for the 4th of July. This is done ITH, and the only embroidery was the 4 panels with the star and hearts. The embroidery is done prior to assembling the panels. When completed, it is reversible. I played with photo shop some so that you could see both sides. This is a design from Cassandra's Embroidery.

Thank you all for you lovely comments - Sambsranch is correct - the set is from cassandras embroidery, - this is the pointed edge placemat or table runner. The set is found in the In the Hoop section of the site. Link Below.

Thanks Beth! This has to be one of the cuttest projects I've seen on here... LOVE it. Gotta get it and make one too.

This is so cute. I made one just like this one in my embroidery class but of course it didn't turn out as pretty as your did.

Dear Shirlene,

You've gotta be joking! Aren't you an American? I thought all American sewers would have these 3 basic colours. LOL!!!

Love and blessings to you Chris.

P.S. I also hope you have a wonderful 4th July this Saturday (we'll think of you here in Australia on your American Independence Day)

shirlener88 by shirlener88 30 Jun 2009

Oh Chris - I have those colors - just not enough to make one of these - cute table toppers. I guess I could mix and match - but I am not much of a material girl - don't have statsh on hand. Hehehe! Thank you for the best wishes, too.
