I embroidered 18 FSL red flowers and sewed them on this premade - hand embroidered runner. The red outline part is all hand embroidered. I didn't think that the runner needed anything more, but one of my friends wanted me to put something extra on the runner. It took me quite some time to think of something to put on it. She left it up to me - which made it even harder to decide. I was afraid of embroidering something directly on this runner as the material has an open weave pattern and is stretchy. I wasn't sure if an embroidery design would even turn out on it. I was afraid of ruining it. I got the FSL flowers design free from the cute embroidery site. What do you think of my choice of embellishment for this runner?
