My special friend's daughter is getting married in a couple of weeks in Jamaica. She found this beautiful linen and lace in a box she had tucked away as a child. It was an award for perfect attendance for either school or Sunday school. I was almost afraid to stitch on it. I used water soluble mesh as stabilizer and solvy on top. The hardest part was to find letters that would go to 12 to 15 mm. I used my monogram program in my Bernina software because it would go small. I put the girls monogram in one corner and her mother's on opposite corner. It can count as something old, new, borrowed and something blue. My friend asked me to stitch in blue. I hope she likes it. I was nervous working on it. I asked if she had a problem soaking in water to dissolve stabilizer and solvy on top. I will let her do that.

Thanks, I just sprayed a little 505 on the stabilizer. I was afraid to hoop it. Only hooped the stabilizer.

Thanks for this answer. I was wondering how you used WSS stabilizer and didn't hoop it. I didn't know you could use 505 adhesive on WSS.
