Here are more bags I made to sell for charity. They are lined and have an embroidered pocket on the front. They are easy to make and are great as gift bags.

Love both of them, especially the colors and the designs. Did you make the pattern for the bags, or can you tell us where you got the patterns?

I made the pattern myself so it would be simple and easy. There are lots of free patterns for a variety of bags. Just Google "tote bag patterns". Mine were 14" square with a 2" square cut out of each bottom corner. The lining was the same. The handles are cut 4 and a half inches by 16 inches folded in half lengthwise and pressed then fold each side to the center fold and again on the first fold. The pockets are all embroidered on white fabric and cut 5" square then 1 1/2" strips of lining fabric sewed around and lined. Sew pocket on front and sew sides together, then bottom. Sew bottom corners. Make lining leaving an opening in the bottom to turn.Pin handles on front and back about 3 1/2 inches from sides and put inside lining and stitch around top. Turn inside out and press. Top stitch around top. I hope this helps.
