Good morning girls! Well I made my first "quilt"... only 4 squares, but perfect for a chair cushion on Grandmother's walker. I'm going to see Queen Esther on Thursday! This will be her Mother's Day gift. wooo hooo! I'm so excited to see her. My husband is so kind and driving me 400 miles one way. He's such a gem.

Lovely quilt! Nice giraffe fabric, she'll be delighted. I can see the 'knot' is not made by inserting it, but I can't figure how you did it. Have a good trip and enjoy your visit.

This is beautiful - she will love it!!! I had an Aunt Esther (I called her Aunt Tessie). I loved her soooo much - I wish I had been into machine embroidery when she was alive - I would have loved to have made her something as lovely as this....beautiful!!!! Let us know what she thought!!!
