I was looking for a pair of slippers that would stay on my daughter's feet, that were comfortable, warm and durable all in one. I had saved a pair from when my son was a toddler, but could not find them anywhere nowadays. Considering things change so quickly these days, and those slippers were a good 10 yrs+ old, I shouldn't have been so surprized.

Anyways, this led me to try making my own. I made a simple pattern from his exsisting slippers, made a few modifications and VOILA! The Cutie Bootie was born!

These have become so popular I am having a hard time keeping a bunch in stock! My goal was (is?) to make a whole bunch and sell them at my local craft fairs this Fall/Winter. I have them in 3 different sizes, ranging from newborn to 24+ months and ranging in price from $6 - $10.

They all have a corduroy outside, warm flannel on the inside and a non-slip sole. I was even thinking of making some in denim and polar fleece. I could then even embroider something nice on top of those ones!

I don't have a pattern for sale for these....yet. I am seriously thinking of making one, but probably won't get to it until the Fall sometime. In the meantime, I have them For Sale - ready made - only. I have lots of different color combo's available, so send me a private message if you are interested.

They look great. When my girls were little I used to have some that looked like this, they were great. My 'babies' are now 8!

Adorable - where do you buy the bottoms?

I got it from my local quilt shop. The 'fabric' is called Jiffy Grip. It comes on a narrow roll (15" wide)

OK - thank you for answering. I will look for it and now I know what to ask for - if I can't see it.

I'm so sorry, I wish I could understand what you wrote.....lloks like you asked me a question, but I can't understand in order to give you an answer. Thank you, though!

Annita says they are very beautiful and original. She would like to make them. Are they difficult and do you have a pattern?

Oh - thank you for translating for me! I do not have a pattern for them....yet. I am seriously thinking about making a pattern for these Booties to sell. Currently, I do not have one available for re-sale. They Booties are fairly simple to make (it takes me just over a 1/2 hr to sew together 1 pair). i have lots made up to sell, so if she (or anyone else) is interested, I'd be happy to speak with you more about them. I have lots of different colors, as well. The ones pictured on my website are pretty much all sold by now. I'm leaving the photo up however, so people can get an idea of wht they look like in all the different color combo's. So, if you want a pair, send me a private message...
