Here is just a few of the many angels that I stiched out on organza before Christmas. I was real happy with how they turned out. I could not find any WSS in my area other than the rolls of sulky brand which I think is way too expensive for what you get. I couldn't wait to stitch these out so therefore I used the organza. They are alot more work this way with all of the cutting/trimming that you have to do, but they were cheaper to do! I got the fabric for free - I used material from some new curtains that my sister didn't want anymore.

Thanks for the idea, but just before Christmas I decided to do what you suggested. I was getting sick of asking the 3 Walmarts in my area if theirs came in yet.
I ordered 50 yards of the HD Aquafilm WSS from an online co. by the name of World Weidner. It feels like thick plastic and items stitch out just as well with it as the vilene. It cost me $49.95 including shipping. I was buying vilene from Walmart for 1.89 plus tax. So I got this stuff for half of the price I was paying at Walmart and now I have enough to last me awhile. I love doing the FSL and have been having so much fun doing it especially now that I have a good supply of WSS.
