He knew that you were thinking about him the entire time you were making these.;)
A great and attractive way to be sure they don't misplace his towels.
Something like this would be perfect for my aunt who is in a nursing home. I am a novice to machine embroidery and need to ask you a question. How do you hoop the towel. When I try, the towel never stays in.
Open the hoop as far as you can then place the towel in it and press the other on the top. when it is in you hold it and pull to even it out. Then you tighten the skrew. Dont put any paper with it. Place watersoluble stabilizer lose on the top and then you stitch. when completed you just spray water onto the stabilizer and pull it away. Hope this will help.If not, click onto community and load any questions you have and the others on the site might be able to explain it better. You will learn as you go along
it is wonderful you did this for him .every time I was making any thing I would take it to show my mom what I was doing and she always wanted me to leave it there so she could show it off.
Maybe you should make up an album for her of the things you make.
Then she can have a "brag book" and show it off to her friends
good and lovely idea to embroider his name on it. He must have been pleased!
He loved them and all the other things that I did for him.
HE TELL EVERYONE THAT HIS DAUGHTER (YVONNE)DID IT FOR HIM (He seems to remember all of us and his long term memory is fine) but forgets lots of other things. So yes he will find them.
He thinks I am so clever
This is something so very special,,,thanks for sharing
Yvonne, thank you for sharing this - I might have to prepare some for my Mother soon. Great work.
That is such a lovely thing to do for your Dad. I hope all goes well for him and you.
