OK girls, it's catching. I JUST had to do one. I used overlocking thread. Not happy with the result. Must do it again in another thread. I gave this one with the T/P cover to my dog's lady friend.( Helen gives her treats when she takes her dog for a walk. past ou place.)

thank you Gerry. I may be "picky" but the thread had lots of "fluffy things " left around the needle. Will try later though

Rosi, I think it turned out lovely and I am glad you had a desire to try it out - hope to see the new one with the regular embroidery thread soon, too. Lucy lady friend.

thank you Shirlene. Yes my dog is SOOO clever making these things for Helen. She is a Scotish lady into her 80's , has a "cocker spaniel" called "ANGUS' as you would.it is so funny to see -When Helen hasn't got time to stop, Angus DRAGS her across the park to our back fence, just so as he gets to see Keith ( hubby) . When they go past, Angus drags his feet, hoping that he gets to see Keith, as he has dry dog food for his treat. it's so funny.

Your bowl looks great. I have started one but am not having much luck with putting it together. I am not sure i will try another. I have seen so many beautiful ones here.

Thank you Elaine. I found out that if I don't wash the Stabilser out, and just tuch the edges with a cotton bud dipped in warm water and run over the edges , let dry and then stitch the 5 sides together-leaving the last one for the end. Then I stitch them to the base and then the last one up the sides. Found this the better way. Have tried lots of ways-with many tearing out of the hair. Good luck

thank you. I seem to be running out of ideas for Helen. I've made a table runner in purple, a square doiley in cream and purple flowers( lace by Sue Box), christmas wall hanger, a cushion and last year I made her a Lap quilt in her favourite colour "purple" Next year ? Yes of course you can come by and be-friend my Dog if you're game, She'll LICK you to death heheh
