I love it, what size did you cut your squares?
I have a small one as a UFO at the moment....I cut my too small and embroidered on them as well, maybe it will end up being a dolls quilt...hehehe... instead for GD's
Thanks kezza, I started with 9 and half then when I squared them they ended 9 and a quarter. The first one I did was a baby size and only used 6 in but they are small for the embroidery, these designs were from Kennys and they were freebies, 15 different designs and very easy to work with...good luck on yours.
excellent work, nice warm colours - love it, good job.
Like all projects they start out not looking the greatest, but by the time we're finished it's like an ugly duckling turning into a swan *:*
lovely Glenda, could you explain how you did this, I have seen it done years ago but, forgot, love your choice of colours!
Thanks sherylac, if you check on rag quilts in google you will come up with some really good tutorials. I found one that was a video that was really good but can't for the life of me find it now..embroidery library has some tutorials on rag quilts...
Thanks ladies, the other one is in two shades of blue royal and light blue. I hope they like them, I find it hard to know what today's teens will like, but we can only try right !!! Happy Holidays to you all...Hugs G xxx
Glenda, this is lovely - great work.
Thank you shirlene, are these rag quilts really easier than the regular type quilting, that clipping seams is a killer !!! LOL ...
