I made this to offer to my GS's teacher. I glued it in a soap, with an acrylic glue (that becames transparent when dried) and then isolated it with two layers of the same glue, in order to isolate it from water. I love the way it turned out. What do you tink?

It is called acrylic glue and usually comes in a plastic pot. It is white but when dried it becames transparent and is very used for handcrafts. As to where to buy it, I would love to help you, but I am from Portugal...Perhaps one of the ladies could help.*****

Anyway, I think that in a craft store, yu'll be able to find one.

You're very kind! Even if she wants to use it, the layers of glue will prevent the upper part from being damaged! *4U

Nini, so what you are saying - the acrylic glue allows the soap to be used without distrubing the FSL? Nice! Most people would never use anything this nice - it would be just for show. Well, I wouldn't.

Yes, Shirlene, if you apply each layer of glue in an opposite sense, after dried, it will preserve the FSL. I've made the experience with figures cut from fabric. Of course if you don't use it it will look nicer!;=)
