Here is another set for my associates girls. I bought a remnant of fleece from JoAnn's, and just used what else I had. Have to rush them off in the mail, or they will not be able to wear before Christmas. The little Santa Name is from Freenamemania - but I think that they changed their site now. Have not been back to it, but these are very nice - I only have about 13 more of these to get done - do you think that I will make it?

Beth these are adorable and I do think you can finish up - before Christmas - if you stay at it. Great work.

Beth, I love them! how did you stitch the decorative snowflakes across the hat? Is that embroidered or stitched with a decorative stitch on the machine? Did you have to add anything to the back to "stablize" the fabric?

I used a decorative stitch in my sewing machine. It is recommended to use a stabilizer, but I did not on these. I turned the cuff up on these, and the decorative stitch is what actually did my hem. If I am doing heirloom work, I normally do use the stabilizer, but this was so heavy that I did not have to.
