This is a pic of my threadstand. It is made from scraps and is attached to the table with a clamp. The thread sits on the short dowels and goes up thru an eyehook on the top crosspiece. Then I thread my machine as usual. It works great. I have one for each of my machines.

Looks great....would you believe I just sit my thread on the table behind my machine and it works just great.

I used to put mine in a Mayo jar on the window sill. This works better.

This is a really good idea. My husband has also made to me a similar thread stand. I have had with the big reels forever problems. The filament voltage has never fitted, mine has helped out one me. Would recommend really good thing, I am able to everybody.

Didn't see the post, but there are NO cats in this house. I do have two dogs who try to grab anything that hits the floor tho. Never let your dog grab your WSS..it disolves on contact with their mouth.
