Each cushion has musical notation on for a friend of mine that teaches music for young children. I could not embroider them big enough and they looked like black lollypops, so I did them with applicate and zigzagged them on. It took me ages!! On oneside I did some regularly used notes, and the other I did all the other notes and treble clef/ base clef. After finishing them I realised I did the treble clef wrong way around so had to do them again.

That would be so easy to do. You did a good job. :-) I used to teach piano. I would have loved to have had these back then in the studio I worked in for my kids.

You probably got the treble clef the right way round. Do you still play?

These look great! Since I'm a teacher, I'll have to think of a way to do something like this for my classroom! *
