Oh my goodness, someone pulled this up from 2 years ago. I guess it is new all over again. Kay
Thanks for the instructions, I'll have to give it a try for my 4 kids for thier gift box. It will be easy to make for others too.
These are so nice, better than just a napkin.....thanks for sharing.
I guess here is another project for Christmas to put on my list... It keeps growing, humm? Will I finish everything in time? hehehe.
My mom used to have a liner like this one...this is exactly what I was looking for to use in my new basket...now I have to find some cool material...thanks for sharing!
I'd like to have a go at these too, hope you don't mind me using your instructions. Jo
How can I go about getting a pattern for this?? I have searched everywhere.....
Thanks
Very nice. Thanks for sharing the photo and instructions with us!
Great idea. I used to do rather small circles, with ruffled rather wide edge. Hard to iron and not as nice as this. Thank you for sharing.
These are very nice. I haven't seen them like this before. Thanks for the instructions
I love these. I use flour sack towels for my bread baskets, but I am going to make some of your beautiful liners. Thanks so much for sharing!
i didn't pull my original paper pattern but took measurements of project. I know some one gave me one for Christmas and also inherited one from a great aunt. She had some beautiful linens. Anyway the measurements are as follows: on a piece of paper cut 18 1/2" square. also make a 6" across circle and fold in half. Now take half circle and place in middle of each side and trace around inner edge. That's it. Cut 2 and turn right side out and stitch opening closed. If you like insert jumbo rickrack or piping, it makes it twice as easy to turn. Enjoy. Now you don't have to use a good napkin to line bread or roll basket!!!
Oh Kay, these are nice - I bet everyone wants a couple of these. I would. What size is this pattern?
Very pretty. What size are they? It's a clever design. *4U
they will make lovely christmas gift sets ...*4u
Thanks, I have been making these for 20 years and I used to keep a good stock pile on hand, but they have dwindled down. I will cut out a dozen at a time and sew them between other projects and while embroider machine is stitching. I don't leave the room when embroidery is running.
