2 quilted placemats- 1 embroidery design . You can line with light iron on fleece, or use the light batting with insulation to keep food hot or cold. I've found the iron on fleece does just as well. Handle for each side. Webbing or Grogain ribbon. I reenforced these straps with layer of fleece & dbled the ribbon. 2 buttonholes n top placemat & bottom placemat so they match one another. Sew placemats together on one end & both sides I follow stitching of threads they r already bound with. Do not sew the ends with the buttonholes. This has an oval pyrex dish n it. Great for sqs. pie plates etc. the handles r stitched n as U stitch both placemats together. I again stitch handles where they r in placemats to reenforce. Tie some ribbon on spoon or decorate with anything then slip through buttonholes to close. Makes nice gift. At Christmas I use christmas Designs to decorate with & often include cake or cookies with the gift.. another 1 coming up

Never ending uses for placemats. Did you design this your self or tell us about where you saw it. I'll bet merchants wonder why these placemats fly off the shelves. I often check Big Lots, good buy there if you have one in your area.

This is great - my younger daughter is always taking breakfast for the Church group, and she could sure use things like this. Guess I will have to give it a try.

Quilted placemats do an excel. job Lbrow like the scallops too and your chosen colours. A good idea for keeping 'late comers' food warm too.

Anna the unquilted will make up just as well If U just line them. Sew linin to ea. placemat inside before sewing them together, doing the design or buttonholes. Thanks *$U
