I had this small rosebud floral design from somewhere. It is not a FSL, so I took my smallest hoop and hooped a scrap piece of Organza. Did not take long to stitch out. I then used my soldering iron to burn away the leftover 'hairs' after cutting away the Organza-I might add that I used Rayon theads as Polyester melts. The Organza 'hairs' disappear. I glued a piece of vinyl to the back and let dry overnight and then glued the ear stud to it. I should have been more careful--thought I had it centered better and I know better than to leave glue showing. I should have worked with it more--too in a hurry.

What a novel and lovely project! Thanks for sharing how you did it. I don't think that it would need to be prefectly centered as no one will see the back.

The earrings stay upright so you are right, no one but me shall see it.

Was thinking of doing this on scrap Organza so I wouldn't waste any. Had the thought in my head just never did it but once before. Before I used polyester thread and I learned my lesson--do not use thread that melts, you lose your whole design project.
