I realised I wasn’t happy with three tiles when I looked closely at Santa. The top right hand section of the lantern with his fingers holding onto the lamp, the section where his fingers are above the belt and then i noticed the belt top wasn’t brown!! And then the bottom section of his ermine coat wasn’t as white as I wanted. So 7 hours later and thousands of stitches I’m finally happy with it. Talk about OCD he he he. Love Chris

So to clarify the ones I redid - second row 2 down
First row - fourth one down (fingers with top of gold buckle and brown belt - check out the previous picture and you’ll see it was yellow)
And the first row last tile on the bottom.

That was a good decision! Not because there was some things that needed tweaking, but because it would have bothered you forever! Thanks for the updated photo!

Only you most likely would have noticed. But if it were me I would have had to redo them as well. Looking forward to seeing him sewn together. Hugs

You are right Shirley, it was glaringly obvious especially his hands and belt! I'm glad I redid them. Love Chris

Oh you are right - and on a project as big as this one - you didn't have much choice other than to redo those panels. You are very patient!!! It looks great! Hugs, Laura

Chris it is lovely watching Santa slowly appear. I admire your dedication. Just how many stitches are there altogether? Are your grand daughters helping with this as they are with you or not?

Hi Caroline, there are approximately 750,000 stitches in the completed panel. No the granddaughters are not helping, just giving me praise as I'm sewing the tiles together. I should finish it this weekend. Love Chris
