I have been sewing and knitting and had not used the embroidery unit for months. But two days ago I got the request for the towel and one for a bib, or rather two identicalbibs. The boy was born on Sunday.
The boy's surname is Koning (Dutch for king) so I was asked to think of something royal. What could be more royal than a crown. So I digitised one. The 'pearls' are less grey in real life than they look at the picture. Detail: #2

That is a fantastic bib/towel! Did you make the bib too? It's wonderful that you have ability to digitize whatever you want and have it turn out so perfectly! I'm sure she'll be thrilled with them.

Thank you. Yes I made the bib - small guesttowel, hole the size of a cd and a piece of ribbing some 10% shorter than the circumference of the hole. I usually buy a packet of six and make the bibs, so I'll have some ready when my neighbour wants a cheap present again. This time she wanted one done that way and a second one with an opening at the back as well. So I made two that way and have a spare for next time....

Thank you. I like the challenge of drawing a shape and then creating something your machine can stitch out.
