i have been sleeping on this for almost 2years, finished the patchwork but did not know how to quilt, when a friend a few weeks ago suggested embroidery hoop to quilt, it it not a perfect job but atlest i learned a lot and now my daughter can use it. this is my first try at quilting.

Love the colours, Love the layout, Love the quilt. Very, very nice work. I too am teaching myself to quilt and have found a lot of free information on quilting how to's etc, designs and instructions etc. on www.quilt.com they teach you all the numbers of patches you need for the different quilts. Have a look there is so much information I have taken to printing all, to read it when I have more time. It is good for the beginner to advanced. Happy quilting. Sandra Hutchison, Australia.

you should be proud - I'm also trying to teach myself. Challenging but rewarding. Keep up the good work, it gets easier with each one you do.
