I really messed up on these. I forgot to put the back on. Now I need to figure a way for them to stay on a headband. Ugh! Still I like this piece a lot. I hope it brings sunshine to a little girls day.

They sure brought sunshine to my day! I agree with Chris - gluing a back on them should do the trick.

May resew around the outline of the mouth on the headband****that should hold it on???

Hi Chris, I think you could still save them by cutting out another piece the same as what you've got and it wouldn't matter if it showed a little bit behind the points of the sun. Have a look at the Gingerbread project that "genin" made a couple of posts down the page. She made the backing a bit bigger and it shows really well. I'd glue them onto the headband and to make doubly sure I'd hand stitch it in certain places to keep it steady and permanently in place. Love Chris
