I am going to do this design until I get it right! I have missplaced my snaps so I thought buttonhole. Does the button go on the front (the towel would hang close to the stove) or on the back?

There are other issues with these 2 pieces. Can you find them all? Lol!

I must be blind as I can't see any issues! Love the little doggie too.

Just a thought, I am currently working on some ITH eye glass cases and I found that by using fleece instead of batting I can trim it closer and I don't have the fuzzies that the batting left behind.

I used a strip off a blanket I had shortened. I think what you are seeing is the stabilizer and that should wash away.

Hi Chris, I'd put the button at the bottom section of the hanging part (like in the picture below, taken from the internet).
I'm assuming this is an ITH project and was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the wispies by actually sewing the hanging section onto WSS at the stage where you are about to put on the satin stitch. Carolyn makes lots of these and maybe she can give you some advice on what to do. I agree with Barbara (babash) suggesting cutting closer to the fabric, that's also a way to get rid of the wispies. I love the colour of the towel by the way. I don't know how many times I've made something that wasn't correct and kept at it till I've got it right!!!!!!!!!! Keep at it, love Chris

Thank you for the pic. It does help. The design didn't come with a buttonhole. I digi'd the one I used.

Thank you. The towel is very smooth looks great, but if you look at it wrong it will snag.

I would have the button on the front. Just easier to button. Love the colors. The best place for the button hole is the top of the design. It looks to me as if the satin stitch could be wider so it would cover the material, and not have the fuzzes show.

Thank you. I will put the button on the front of the one with the correct button hole. The other one I may wait til I find my snaps.

I always put the buttonhole at the top. You could put one on the design as the last thing before you take it out of the hoop. There are some available for free. Apart from that just needs trimming a bit closer then all should be good. Pretty colour.

Thank you, I wish I had more of this color. The quality of the towel is not so great.

I would say on the front as it would be hard to button it on the back like the towels nice work
