Flour sack towels. Making for craft show in September. Some I used light weight stabilizer some I used sticky wash away. Pic #1 & 2 designs from Cute Embroidery. Pic #3 & 4 designs from Embroidery Library. In pic 1 the green thread on the tree faded onto the white towel...never had this happen before. I purchased the towels online and they are a better quality than ones I bought at Wal-Mart. Where do you get flour sack towels from? Thanks for looking at my projects! And I just received my 7000 flower, I thank you for the flowers! Have a beautiful day, Suzanna

Love your towels, great job. I would hate to have to pick my favorite. Great to see the difference in the 2 colors on the snowmen.. Thank you for sharing.

i like redwork, so fast to do. Also does not impede the 'drying ability'. Great chooks! [this is Australian for hens, in case anyone is wondering]

Those are really cute! Just the right density for dish drying! I buy from this site, but I believe there is another...that I just can't find at the moment!

nancysnotions.com used to sell them, not sure if still do. I make mine sometimes by using good quality 100% cotton and just hem them. Our club bought from nancysnotions and as they were large we were able to cut them in half, hem 2 edges and use them.

for lightweight designs like those and sturdy fabric like that, I don´t use stabilizers at all.

Most of them I used the wash away sticky and that seems to work the best. Thank you very much for your comment.
