Thanks for commenting. Love Chris
These look lovely! Did you use the scuba fabric that so many of the designs lately uses or did you stitch them out on cotton?
Hi, I always use cotton for my quilts. This is a lovely fine weight. Love Chris
Pretty, pretty, pretty...will be a work of heART when you're finished.
Thanks so much Toogie, I hope so. Love Chris
Beautifully done, Chris...…...
Thanks Vicki, Love Chris
It promises to be a masterpiece!
Hi Jerrilyn, I hope so! Love Chris
Thanks so much Shirley, love Chris
You are fortunate to have a back up. My back up machine, Bernina 185, is so old that I am not sure I can get a design transferred from my laptop to it. You have to use a cable or a reader card and magic box is obsolete. It does not have a USB port, but it does sew quite beautifully so I use it for sewing. You know , you may have been wise to hold on to your embroidery machine instead of trading it in. last year I missed stitching Mother's, Father's Day and 4th of July because my machine was in the shop. Kay
Oh! I am so sorry Kay that your baby was in repairs for so long! It's always good to have a back up machine though isn't it? Love Chris
Sure is going to be pretty once it is all stitched out. Happy Stitching
Thanks Brenda, I hope so! Love Chris
Stunning designs ..Fantastic job done,,Gorgeous!!!
Thanks Sonja, still a long way to go though! Love Chris
This is magnificent quilt! That blue and white combo really gives it an elegant look. I'm anxious to see the rest of the blocks...and, of course, the finished quilt!
As much as I love my new machine, it too sometimes needs tweaking. What is "automatic" sometimes means a"utomatic with adjustments."
Hi Penny, if you go back through my pictures on the PROJECTS tab under my name you will see the Navy ones I've done. Love Chris
This is simply so elegant! Well done! Hugs, Laura
Thanks Laura, I hope it will be when finished. Love Chris
When Fix, Stop and Go don't work it's time to change machines and plans. This reminds us that it is SOOOO lovely to have a second machine. The four squares are lover-ly, lover-ly, lover-ly.
Hi Betsey, I thought the same, but Maarten said it can be fixed. He's waiting on parts. I wait with baited breath! Love Chris
The blue on white is so delicate looking. I love it and I have some Stitch Delight designs. They do sew out very well. Thanks for sharing these squares. Will take awhile, but will be interesting to see a post on the completed project. Blessings, Avis
You are right Avis, it's a project I do when I have spare time! Love Chris
Great job. This will be a fantastic quilt
I hope so Angie, I just love navy and white. Love Chris
Beautiful, Chris...soooo do you plan to mix these in with the ones you did with the blue fabric and white thread or ???
Yes, Kim, that's the plan! Love Chris
Very nice. It will be beautiful when you are finished!
I hope so too Debbie, love Chris
I love this Chris!
Thanks Miss Lillian, me too! I hope I get it finished! Love Chris
Beautiful, lot of stitching when the quilt is finished.
Yes, it is and metres of thread! Love Chris
wow, very pretty !!
Thanks Gerry, I think so too. Love Chris
Very nice Chris!!
Thanks Maria. Love Chris
Have you tried loosening your top tension a bit,
I like your designs. Janette
Hi Janette, I've never touched the tension on this machine. I'll have to have a look at the Instruction booklet. Love Chris
I don't mess with the bobbin tension on my Ellisimo, but frequently change the top tension depending upon the thread, fabric or design...it is very easy to set it back to the "default" for the machine so you really can't mess it up...
Thanks for your input Kim. Love Chris
