Nice job Meganne. Looks like you stitched them together like I did a kleenex box cover. I'm not happy with it either and plan on changing the next one.
Looks good to me meganne hope your sister is now recovered from her virus
Thankfully yes, she is not a healthy lady, Asthma, Glaucoma, Osteoporosis, 2 bouts with breast cancer, allergies, the list goes on and a good gust of wind would blow her over, so she really worries me. Thanks for your thoughts, hugs n roses, M
very nice meg, I like how you added the butterfly and monogram to it. well done *4u
A beautiful job Meg & very glad U got to visit with your sister *4U
your sister will be pleased with these! hope she'll be better now!
Meg, they are wonderful and I like your idea of stitching them together in the hoop. Good luck!
This should have cheered up your Sister they are lovely and bright. They look really great to me. Do they hold the small Kleenex pak? Now the usual question where did you buy the design to make them? They surely are different to the little ones that have the slit open on the front of them to pull out the tissue. Looks more compact this way.
Thanks Kezza, Actually it's a little too large for my liking, probably designed more for the US tissue packs than the smaller ones we have here, so I intend to alter the pattern next time. What you see here is the front and back of the one pack and worse luck the purple & mauve colouring doesn't come out in the pic as well as it could. The pattern came from AStitchaHalf, i added an invisible press stud to the flap. and yes she loved it, thankfully. hugs n roses, M
Actually I just had a thought, I may digitise it to stitch out in one hooping by joining as many pieces together as will fit in my 6 x 10 hoop. LOL!
Funny I was thinking of asking you that, but decided it was time for bed, right then! LOL!
I really like the idea of stitching it in the large hoop and having the pieces join together.
