I was looking at a squirrel other day and thought how he steals my filberts and walnuts. Actually his cousins all join in also. This got me to thinking as Nuts,pretzels and popcorn are The snack choice mostly for hubby. I like fruit and nuts. Then saw a empty pretzel container, thought of the Snaps tool and got moving on this. The wide container was a pretzel container pictured in 1st Pic. Then pic 2 an extension needed for this container and I made sleeve of matching fabric. Pic 3 is back after sleeve on.Pic 4 Is one I made it for it fits mason reg or wide mouth snugly without elastic & snaps in place as shown in pic 5. I made him to just stitch then it ended in applique. Now need to make some toppers and wa la Christmas goodies will make dressed gifts to refill if receiver wishes.

That particular batch of shelfs is for my dried goodies.

Great idea! I was going to make something similar for dog treats using plastic coffee containers, but could not figure how to attach the felt cover to the container because of the handle area. Maybe, I should use a jar!
