About me:Located in the snow belt along Lake Erie, so I get to sew a lot in the winter. Just got a Janome 300E last year along with the digitizer Pro package, having a ball embroidering and digitizing. Learning to quilt now, pretty much on my own as I just can't be as fussy as most 'real' quilters. I'm 60, and I'd better start using up that fabric I've been stashing since I was in college. I live on 8 acres out in the country that's been in my family for more than 50 years. My Dear Hubby bought me the embroidery machine and a laptop to go with it, so I'm permanently out of his hair (or would be if he had any). We have 2 Shetland Sheepdogs & 6 rescue cats. A deer herd lives down by the creek, flocks of wild turkeys strut thru my yard, and the cardinals, finches and chickadees are eating me out of house & home. I love it!! Photo is of Jamie the Sheltie, and Lucy-Furr, the kitty. Sorry to say that DH passed away in November 2007, and it's pretty lonesome without him. I think of him when I use the embroidery machine & the laptop. Things will get better eventually.
