About me:Hi to everyone! I am a mom to 2 boys ages 11 & 15 years. I recently lost my job and my huny told me to stop working and go back to college to finish a long time dream I have had. He also asked me to marry him! He is the one that bought me my machine last christmas! I have wanted one for years! Prior to christmas I only had a hand me down Kenmore machine that was produced in the fifties! I have had a love for crafts and sewing since I was a little kid. I bought my house in May-07 and have since sewn many items on my old machine to add my touches to make it a home. Being self taught on my Brother Embroidery machine I only knew what reading my manual taught me. In reading about all of you and your projects have taught me so much more. I have only really duplicated my huny's work shirts. The boss only gave him 2 initially, which is terrible because he goes out of town for several weeks at a time. So my main project was to copy the design on his work shirt and make him atleast 5 more shirts so laundry only happened once a week when out of town. I also put his name on the sleeve making it more personal and heart on the inside along the bottom so when he saw it he knew I loved him! I know I am a goofball, but little things like that are what makes Life a really great thing! I also sewed a bag for my son's teacher and added my lil' heart in a out of the way place! Showing it was made with love!
