About me:I have recently retired on disability from a job in Real Estate. I've sewn all my life, but once the "machine embroidery bug" hit me, I only seem to sew from scratch when it's something for charity thru one of my sewing groups. I am a member of the American Sewing Guild. We have sewn alot for those in need; especially for "Habitat for Humanity" which is my favorite.
A member of "Threads of Love" which is a group of ASG members who sew for sick babies and/or babies who have passed away. We sew Burial gowns for them and also beautiful "Memory Envelopes" for the Mother to save important items that she wants to keep as a rememberance of her lost baby, such as a lock of hair, etc.
I own Husqvarna sewing machines; a D-1 and #1+. They are both fantastic machines and I enjoy then both. Eventho I don't "work" anymore, I never seem to have enough time to complete the projects I'd love to do for my 3 children and 6 grandbabies! I am anxious to try your designs- thank you so much for allowing me to try them.
