About me:I live in Durban, South Africa with my husband and father and 2 very special Maltese Poodles, 1 cat and 3 Koi fish.
My passion is sewing. Most of the time I make costumes for dancers and performers, mostly because I have been involved in the dance world since I was a child and then with my daughter as well. My husband was also a professional drummer. We are Grandparents now, but still perform on a semi professional basis. I do dance classes weekly and perform with a theatre group annually.
I have a son who lives in London, an IT programmer, and my daughter lives in Scotland. She has blessed us with a beautiful grandson, who will be 2years old in September 2010. My son prefers to remain a bachelor for now!!
My embroidery machine was a gift from a friend who brought it from America for me, how lucky am I, and it is my most valuable possession! I would love to be able to spend more time stitching out all the beautiful designs I have collected....sigh.
I do so enjoy visiting the Cuties site and getting to know the family here, (the men at home can be ever so boring), so it's good to be able to look in at the chatter and tips.
