I'm adding pictures of my first attempt at making scrappy quilt bags to my garden. I used a pattern for the bag with no name. Then I made my own pattern for my daughter-in-law's bag. I embroidered her name. She wanted a bag to carry her computer. My bag

I needed something to compliment my entrance so I made a tree from scratch. I used a dead limb that I found in the bush, I let the limb dry for a month. I secured the limb in plaster of paris in the pot, drilled hole in the limb and insert each branch in

OK I've just tried the heart shape pin cushion. I just couldn't make that beautiful knot like everyone else did. So, I sewed a little ribbon with a good luck charm. I managed to put pins in it, now that's a plus. The pattern is beautiful, thank you Cut

I'm posting my music lap quilt that I made for my sister. I made a few cushions with the left over. I just love the soft colours. The embroidery designs turned out so beautifully. I was able to resize the design to fit my block. I got them from: Dorria

Teddy Bear. On this teddy bear, I embroidered the cutest freebie daisy designed by sweet heirloom. I added a little fabric flower for the necklace. I covered the flower center button with the same fabric.

I was asked to come up with an inexpensive idea for our ladies night workshop. I chose to do a table centerpiece "top hat". I did not invent the idea, I saw something similar on the net. (Just love the net) Everyone went home with their own creation. I

I'm not sure where to post this. But my garden grew by 1000 flowers in a day and a half. My daisies are gorgeous. Thank you so much Cutties for visiting my garden. NB Canada.

Here is a project that was a huge fiasco. I wanted to make faux cupcakes. I used a can of spray foam to make the muffin. Then I asked at the hardware store what was the best stucco that I could use on this foam. They recommended a brand, bought it, put it

A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I hosted a card night. We were 20 people. It was a potluck style. I really wanted us to have fun. I made aprons for my guests to use while helping in the kitchen. I needed to come up with something. So, I used puppy d

This is my attempt at making corners. This gorgeous little cat with butterflies was a freebie on Kreative Kiwi, based in New Zealand. I've embroidered this little cat on card stock for a card. Turned out beautiful. I've included the link.

I needed to come up with an idea to use up some left over fabric from a quilt I made. These little mug rugs were fun to make. The beetle is appliqueed and the I went crazy doing some stippling.
