I'm not used to doing any embroidery for myself. Just simple monograms but I like it!
First bit of selfish embroidery on one of my sewing/crafting totes. My head said use dark chocolate brown to match the handle but my heart said red is your favorite color :-)
Puppets & dinosaur for my nephew from DBC. He chose all the colors himself and asked for a C on his puppet so everybody would know it was him :-) We are making more this weekend...mouse, chick and rabbit are on his request list.
A woman posted in another embroidery group that she never hoops her stabilizer, she only hoops her item and then floats stabilizer on top and bottom. Are there very many people out there that prefer this method? Just curious :-)

This photo was posted to a recycling page on Facebook just a few days ago. I think this would be a great use for old sweaters or sweatshirts stuffed with socks too worn to repair, rags, used dryer sheets, stuffing from old pillows that have gone flat....
