Okay, I decided to take it a step further with this, since it was a test piece... Ruffles on the butt. The doll didn't have any nappies on so it was a little big on her. but this turned out really cute.
Here is the Vintage Luxe heart. I used antique linens and lace and vintage fabric. This applique was featured in Sew Beautiful. (not mine but one like it).
I know you are sick and tired of my pillowcase dresses. :) I actually embroidered the Vintage Luxe heart from Hang to Dry, which was featured in Sew Beautiful Magazine. Most of the fabric is vintage except what matched the hemline.
My oldest stepgrandson is getting married (finally) and this is for his daughter (great grand). I can't remember who the fabric is by but it was quite expensive. The Elegant Applique font is from MCA.
