Haven't been around lately...we farewelled my hubby's dad (91) yesterday after him having a stroke last week. Today it's been 5 months since his mum passed. We are sad but happy that they are both back together - it would have been their 70th wedding
Thanks to Carolyn for giving me the idea of how to stitch this set of towels for my nephew's wedding last Sunday. The main design is from Sonia Showalter & the names from my built in alphas.
Here is a photo of what I've been up to. I did snowmen & snowladys for the grands & some friends children. There are only 2 sleighs as the grands got them last year.
Well here are some of my Easter goodies....the second photo shows filled with my grand-daughters names added too.
I thought I'd show you what I made for my brother's 60th Birthday. It has a bottle or port inside it.
Here are a couple of photos of baby shower gifts that I made for my step-daughter in-law. The baby favour design is from Embroidery Garden.
Here is a photo of some preemie hats that I have been making for charity.
After seeing Shirlene's little lace deco's I thought I'd put up a photo of my little lacey christmas tree. It is an older photo as I now have lots more on it but it's all packed away again for another year....lol
My birthday wishes I'd like to thank all the Cuties who have wished me a Happy Birthday. I can't believe that I've hit 50 already. Flowers for all of you.
Gift swap Here is a photo of a set of towels done for a gift swap for a retreat that I attended.
Well here is something that I've been busy with....it is a vest that I made in crochet for our little grandson who is nearly 10 months old.
Lastly....a gift for a little girl I know... a poncho I made that I also put little flowers on so her & her mum would know the front from the back. I can't say who for in case she sees it before I give it to her....
Here is another project but still not embroidery, for my friends little 2 y/o twin granddaughters. I'm not sure how they look but followed the pattern...ggg They are supposed to be cats! The girls like meow meows...
Here are a couple of photos of a few things I made for my cousins wedding.
Well it's Christmas night here in Australia. I did spare a thought for the familiys that lost their loved ones in the Sandy Hook masacre. Although their loved ones will be celebrating up in Heaven instead..... May God look down on them al
