One Tie Purse This is my cute little purse made from a man's tie following quilter124's directions. She was very patient with my questions and guided me with my first project using quilting techniques. Thank you Dianne, hope you like it
Pillow case for GD’s birthday. She loves Sherlock Holmes. Her older sister designed it and found free clip art of the silhouettes and drew the foot print for me. I did the magnifying glass and digitised them all myself. Hope you like it.
My latest project. I have refurbished 2 doll strollers for the preschool where my daughter in law works. They are meant for dolls but the children climb in themselves. The originals were very much the worst for wear, so these are made of much stronge
Pillow case for GD’s birthday. She loves horses, and still loves My Little Pony. Most of these are from DBS, but the Little girl and the 2ponies in the bottom right corner are Sarah’s own drawings which I digitised for her about 10 years ago. She
3 Zipper purses I made for three of my granddaughters at Christmas. I didn’t put name tags on them but just hung them on the tree and told them to look for something that looked like it was meant for them, and they each found the right one.
My first attempt at an ITH Zipper purse. My hoop is 5.5x5.5 so I rotated Sue’s 5x7 design and reduced in one direction till it was 5x5.5. Hope you don’t mind Sue, thanks so much for the design, I love it and really wanted to try it.
This is not my project, it is my granddaughter’s. She came back to Australia for a visit and while she was here she made gifts for her 2 best mates back home in Canada. She wanted to make pillow cases like the one I made for her years ago beca
Cushion cover for my GD Made from left overs and some test stitch outs from her projects. This my first attempt at joining squares in a quilting manner. My joining strips leave a lot to be desired and I think it would be easier to work with less sli
Nothing to do with embroidery but I have been looking at my flower total, the year of arrival(1788) of the first fleet of settlers and convicts to Australia. Perhaps I shall see it click over some time soon to 1799, the year my earliest Australian ancest
Coasters for Sis-in-law. She has stain-glass cupboard doors and skylights with red roses in her kitchen/family area. I thought of her as soon as I downloaded each of these freebies but have taken a while to get around to making
My Easter Baskets. Made with Sue's great design. I have finally gotten around to taking the photos off my camera. The family loved them and their contents.
Patches for shoes. I made these patches for my granddaughter using her own art work. She wants to sew them on to the outside of the ankles of a pair of pale blue canvas boots. Should make her boots a bit out of the ordinary.
Mockingjay Pin Patch I reduced the freebie from Apex Embroidery and merged it with a square patch from DBC to make this for my 14yr old GD. I then had to make a second one for her older sister. I am not sure yet whether I will have to make anoth
I made this little dress for a friend to take to her GD in Thailand. No embroidery, I felt the material was a bit too 'busy' and any embroidery would be lost on it. I did use the scraps to make a bag for TicTacToe and there is embroidery in that. H
TicTacToe Sets These are TTT sets from SICK that I made for a friend to take to her GD and GS
