I was given 5 pure wool tartan kilts last week. Any ideas what I could do with re cycling the fabric into something "interesting". Currently I'm at a loss other than passing them onto a charity shop but do like some of the fabric. Thanks for reading

Just noticed that Urban Threads has undergone a makeover. Its now just like Embroidery Library. I have always seen UT to be innovative, edgy, young and so on but now it appears to be bland and boring. Anyone any thoughts?

In the northern hemisphere the summer is ending. I have had a very busy summer. Being retired is busy work. I have been looking after both sets of grandchildren but not together. Its been great fun but hard work so sewing has taken a back seat again.

Another experiment. Same font as the Elizabeth cushion but this one is made with quite a thick and rough fabric. Again I am pleased with the result but will have to wait to tomorrow to buy a cushion pad. Thanks for looking
