Hi there Cuties! So here is another experiment along with a lesson learned ( I hope for all of us)

I tried joining the heart design into a doily like Lidia but as I don't have a big hoop I had to go with a trio design to fit my 5×7 hoop!
Seemed fine till I started stitching.....when the second heart overlapped in the centre... then itself I felt it would be impossible for the third to overlap successfully as it was already so dense so I was prepared!
It did cause a bit of a mess in the middle of my doily :( but I managed to skip most of the third overlapping as I felt that was the only option to save the doily and better than risking my machine!!!
Well bottom line....its better to avoid more than 2 pieces overlapping :)
Thanks for looking!

It is a lovely design! I'm glad that you were able to put the three together so nicely. Some things are a lot easier with a really big hoop, but I don't have one either. So it is good for you to share your experiance with us so that I'll know what to do if I encounter this problem.

Yes thats the reason I shared although the outcome wasnt perfect! This way we all get to learn so much from each other's experiences may they be good or bad :)
We should just make the most of what size hoop we have. ...thanks a lot! :)

Thanks for sharing your lesson learned. It still looks nice. Did you use any software for combining the designs? If so, perhaps you could remove some stitches before transferring to your machine.

Yes I did use a software and today itself I edited and removed stitches and have kept it ready for a second try :)
Will see how that goes....thanks a lot!

Well done Fatima, it looks great and you did a good job in overlapping them. I'd do the same as Carolyn suggested. Make a few and zig zag them all together. Love Chris

Thank you Shyam :)....I think you can use the zigzag stitch method and join them! Do share with us when you are done :)

maybe you could add a fsl circle for the middle & add them to it using your machine to zigzag them together? I have no clue so just a thought here............

Thanks a lot Dear :).....yes there are options for me to get it done in pieces and joining them but here I was trying to do it in one go in the hoop itself! So for this maybe will need to workout some other way!
