Lidia, this is probably my favorite doily. I really enjoy how you put them together. It is beautifully done! Thanks for showing how you do it. It makes me want to give it a try. Joyce
Thank you, Joyce. I have uploaded the picture of my software layout because Chris wanted to know how and what I have done it, and I'm happy that it has encouraged other Cuties to try as well.
love it you do such lovely work hugs Carolyn
Thank you, Carolyn.
your creations are one of a kind. very lovely indeed. Have you thought of sending a photo to Sue Box to show her what is being accomplished with her wonderful designs...I may give her ideas to make some new doyleys...
Thanks for your comment, Kerry. Yes, I have sent my photos to them. I agree with you that Sue's designs are wonderful. Hugs, Lidia

Thank you, Roberta!
So different!! Nice work!
Thank you, Suzanne!
Brilliant! I would have never thought of doing this! Besides being smart, you have opened a whole new world to us! They are lovely! Hugs, Joyce
Thank you, Joyce, you are too kind.
I'm happy to have inspired you and hope to see your next projects.
This overlap would kill my machine but I was wondering....do you ever mess up? These look perfect and you do so well putting them together!
You can stitch this doily out in pieces and hand-stitch or machine-stitch them together, as shown in photo #3, without any problems.
I have been able to stitch this FSL doily out in one hooping because I have a large hoop and software that puts designs how I want, to fit my hoop, exactly, so there is no mess when my machine stitches the doily out.
Yes, I do mess up sometimes and it happens when I want to create a doily with a design that hasn't been designed to be stitched out as an applique and it happened recently. Examining the stitch-out, I understood what the problem was, stitched the same doily out again, and I'm very happy with the end result.
They do say perseverance pays off.
Oh goodness! That is beautiful..looks very expensive. You've done a very professional job.
Thank you for your comment.
Wow they are very nice!
Thank you, Lori.
Thank you, Mary.

That is very creative - great work.
Thank you, Shirlene :)
Thank you, Sandra.
This doily is beautiful. I love it and it is very different. Do you sell the design?
Thanks for your comment, Pam. The design isn't mine to sell but you can purchase it from suebox.com.
This is beautiful and you are very creative...thanks for sharing
Thank you, Carlyn, and welcome to Cute Embroidery.
Lidia, this is really creative.. and very pretty...you have inspired me a lot. I have stitched 5 of the heart design but I dont know how to put them together. The centre looks very empty when put together. I am
thinking of sewing by hand to attach all the five pieces, will that be ok...?
Thanks for showing your doilies.. Hugs... Shyam.
Thank you, Shyam.
I haven't stitched the five heart designs individually, my software has created the doily with the five heart designs and I have stitched it in one hooping. I think that you can stitch them together and to help you and some other Cuties, I'll upload a picture of the layout made by my software in my heart doily post. Hugs, Lidia
Very nicely done. :)
Thank you :)
Don't know which I like the most - they are both so beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and fantastic lace

Thank you, Vicki.
Thank you, Sonja!
wow, creative thinking! Great results
Wowser! Doe the overlap make any difference when placing a vase on top?
The overlap doesn't make any difference when placing a vase on top, Christine. Thanks for your comment.
This is beautiful, Lidia! Also a "huge THANK YOU!!!!!!" For posting the great picture of the layout in your software program. It hope you know how helpful that photo is to me/us who want to create some of these great doilies you are making!. Wish there was a pic like this on the first doily you did as I can not seem to get imy layout correct for that one.
I really appreciate your taking the time to share your lovely creations with us and inspiring us!
Thank you, Sharon. I have posted the layout because Chris (pennifold) asked how I have done it. Nobody else has asked me that before. Please tell me which doily are you referring to and I will do the same.
I am speaking about the first one you made from the free heart design. I think I can figure out the other one you made - I just saw it after I posted on this lovely project. This is so kind of you to offer to do this and I am sure it will help others also! thank you very much!
Fantastic! You encourage us to look at designs in new ways.
Thank you, Laffma. Many FSL designs in this collection (3D Lace Swan & Specialty Lace) are useable to create beautiful doilies as well, I have tried a few layouts and am thrilled to have those designs,
Very nice and so beautiful love the way you doing this stunning
Thank you, Stella.
this is stunning! love your work.
Thank you, Sandy!
It looks wonderful Lidia. How and what did you do for the centre? Do you digitise? Love Chris
Thank you, Chris. I didn't digitise anything, if you look at the bottom end of the design of photo #2, you see the part that has created the centre. I'm going to upload a third photo that shows the five pieces in different colours, showing how my software has done it.
Oh, I see, thank you. I can do this in my editing tab too. It's turned out beautiful. Love Chris
Thank you, Marfa!
Love the doily Lidia!
Thank you, Maria Giannina!
