Lovely little bags! Could someone direct me to the link or tutorial on how to put in the zipper, please? Thank you!
Foind the link - LOL. Leave it to me to ask then find what I asked for!
Hi, look at my post in Sewing, the one with photo of colorful fabric.
You've done a great job on these bags!
These are great bags Toogie! I will have to go back & see if I can find the link to the post that gives the link for the bag lol. I need a new cosmetic case & a quilted one would be so much nicer to have!~hugs~
PS love your batik turtle fabric!
Walmart turtle fabric. Loralye, when you know the way to put the zipper in like this, you can make any size bag you want. Just read the link about the zip.
Beautiful bags! Love number 4 and 5. Joyce
Thanks, 4 is front and 5 is back of same bag.
They are great. Did you use in-r-form in them?
High loft quilt batting in first 2 last one I used Pellon 809.
Thanks for the info. I love your bags.
Photo 2 & 3 are of the same bag, I was playing, and view 1 is the same on both sides. Of course 4 &5 are the same case.
An artist you are Toogie. I love them/Lillian
Oh not me, can't draw a straight line-lol-thanks Lillian
I just adore your bags. Great work!
Glad you looked at them-thanks
Such Stunning bags..Beautiful work done!!!!
Thank you Sonja.
Nice set of bags. Thank you for sharing. Smart idea to use waterproof linings in them. Happy Stitching Brenda Lea
Yes, I use this to line Avery's bibs. Keeps her drool from wetting her shirts.
luv your bags beutifull material
Great job "Toogie"!! You've been a very busy lady. I like them all, the purple one and bright colored diagonal stripped one are fabulous.
Thank you, I guess we all have our favorites...ps its "T" for Toogie and I don't think I could Boogie anymore, or some may be tempted to call me Boogie Woogie Toogie!-lol
Oh, I'm so sorry - I did type T for Toogie, but this automatic text completion feature changes things after I type it. Can't stand it when all this digital device thinks it knows exactly what I want to say or how to spell it. So sorry.
Lol -I understand exactly what you mean- my grandson read a text I spoke and my IPhone wrote, to his mom. It was NOT what I said at all . My daughter said I needed to proofread before sending. He really got a kick out of the mistaken message !-lol
I just notice the turtles on the blue fabric. Love it.. You must stay busy all the time... Love all of them. Great work. I downloaded the pattern yesterday. Thank you,
I do stay busy and I sometimes get something like this actually made!-lol- Thanks Kathy
They are all fabulous Toogie, what have you used for the stabiliser. Love Chris
I know I used quilt batting on the first two but the bottom one I used Pellon 809 iron on interfacing.
They are all lovely, Toogie!
Toogie, you have done a really great job. Love the quilted bags.
Thanks Sarah, I enjoyed stitching the up and down narrow quilting on the 2nd one.
Beautiful all this bags . And very nice like the choice of your fabric
Thank you they are just small cases/bags.
These are so adorable.
Thank you for lQQking-Toogie
Wow these look great and will be really useful. Can't decide which is the prettiest, so will just take them all. lol
You know, I wasn't crazy about the pink scrap at the top, until I made this up. The first two were my 'closet scraps' ..remember from the elderly quilter that retired from quilting. The last was from my personal stash of 42 drawers-lol
lol 42 drawers i dont have that many but i sure can relate to he large stash especilay leftovers....soozie
These are the rolling drawers 3 in each set and I have 14 of them. Get them at Walmart. Stores fabrics really well. Did you see my sewing room post when I got it organized?
All I know it's great to have whatever one needs at there finger tips. I need a bigger sewing room. lol
I do too, Leaha, need a bigger room. My husband says, as much as I have, I still need to buy 'some'thing for a project. Like the larger bag I just made for my grand-daughter-in-law. I needed at least a 22-24 inch zipper and I did't have one on hand. I had to pay $1.77 for it at Walmart, and I could have gotten the same zipper at Wawak, for 58 cents! That's a big difference.
Very cute all of these. Especially the purple one.
Do you like the purple. I like the strip, up and down side, but not the crazy patch side. Maybe that says something about me.-lol- I like order, not piled up or chaos.
