Hello Lidia, This doily is absolutely delightful! Excellent stitch-out, colour choices and perfect finishing. I have been watching your items coming up on Sue and Peter's Newsletters and you certainly do their designs the utmost justice. I have this set that I have not stitched as yet and you have certainly inspired me! Congratulations!! Kind regards, Bev
Hello, Bev, thank you very much for your comment. I'm looking forward to see your project with these designs.
Hugs, Lidia
Another beauty...Your doilies have inspired me a lot Lidia and I have just started trying out some designs. The frame is very pretty and I love the corners. Hugs...Shyam.
Thank you, Shyam. I agree with you that the frame is very pretty and is unusual as well. Looking forward to see your projects.
Hugs, Lidia
wow Lidia this is so pretty, on my to do list lol ~hugs~
You are the master of this type of design. Beautiful!
This is lovely. I was admiring it in the Sue box email I received earlier. ;)
I got the Suebox mail and before reading it thought it was your project, given the roses. Beautiful work!
Wow thats so beautiful Lidia :)
Which machine do you have with that big hoop??
Is it possible to get this done using a 5×7?
I love the edges .....they have come out so well!
Great job :)
Thank you, Fatima :)
My machine is a Husqvarna Viking Topaz 30 and its largest hoop is 360x200mm (14.1/4 x 8" approx.). This table place mat measures 292x199mm (11.51x7.83") and I have stitched it out in one hooping only. I don't have experience with a 5x7" hoop. You could download Sue Box's Project Instructions titled Joining Borders and Corners, method 'First Stitch-Last Stitch' which is offered free of charge until Monday 30th March to the Embroidery Friends who have an approved account with them. Also, you could try stitching the designs out onto a ready-made table place mat, as an internal decoration. Just a suggestion....

beautiful I love the edge, did you have to move the hoop 4 times, or have you got a large emb.machine...wendy
Thank you, Wendy. The design measures 292x199mm (11.51x7.83"), I have a 200by360mm hoop and have made this table placemat in one hooping only.
Hugs, Lidia
Absolutely delightful Lidia, it looks stunning. Love Chris

This is the first one of your projects that I saw in an email from Sue Box Designs. It inspired me to order that set. I still have not tackled the placemat because I was dreading trying to match it up in several hoopings. However, now that I have read your explanation of the size, I will be able to make it in one hooping in my largest hoop 9.1 x 11.8 for my new Janome machine. Thanks for the excellent explanation.
