Bless your heart and your family. Glad you stopped by and hope to hear from you again soon. I will check out your project also. Happy Spring!
It's about to become even busier with the school year nearing an end and all of the activities involved in that. Your family is lucky to have you near and to have you participate in their activities. I know it's important to them and to you.
Yes, baseball season has started with Mason and Ty. Well Ty has been in traveling ball already and his sister is starting softball. She just finished basketball. I don't have to help with them but I may have to with Mason. You probably, are right there for yours too, so you know what I mean.
Glad everything is "Normal" enjoy the grandkids!! Suzanne
Great to have you back Toogie. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Hope Avery is well. Look after yourself. Hugs Sarah
Thanks Sarah and yes Avery is well. I saw your Georgie's haircut, I think it is similar to Averys except Avery doesn't have bangs. It is a cute style for her too.
Thanks for the update, Toogie. I was thinking about you a few days ago and I'm glad that all is fine, even if you are super-busy. Pollen allergy is no fun..... I know.
Hugs, Lidia
Hello Lidia, being missed gives me a warm feeling, like coming home....I just sent you a pm. I must have a lot more will power than I thought.. Do you know how hard it was for me to hit the submit button there?-lol-....So you are another allergy sufferer, my sympathies to you.-so good to hear from you-Toogie
Toogie, we have missed you!! Thank you for the update - I know I can't be at Cute as much as I like - life has a way of keeping us so busy!! Happy your daughter and her family have found a home and that it is near by!! Hugs to you Toogie!! Laura*
Laura, I think I can actually feel your hugs!-lol- Ashley did cry because she wanted to build on the family land. It's 121 acres, but we have 10 acres, they were going to build on. My husband had 11 siblings,so they each received 10 acres, when their parents died. They had done a lot of work to the property, readying it for building their dream home. She thought we may be upset that they considered buying a home instead. We told her nonsense. It was their life, their money, live and buy, what and where you want to. She said they have prayed for God to help them, lead them, and she says she hopes this is what He wants them to do. She knew about this house for a while, but it was priced high for this area, even with the updates/remodel. She didn't even consider it. The house didn't sell because of that, so after they got their new house bid in and it was high, this house lowered their price. She said it seemed like it was all falling into place, just for them. It's a little too much house for me, but then I don't have 3 kids at home. I just told her I hope when they were figuring out their loan note, that they also allowed for a housekeeper.-lol-she said they did!
So pleased that all is well. It's always comforting to know one is missed. I'm so glad that your daughter and sil have found a home nearby it will be great for you all. I hope that your allergies soon dissipate, love Chris
They are just a little closer than they were. I think just by two miles, so now they are only 6 miles from us. We, her dad and I, just saw the inside of the house for the first time late this evening. It has large closets in all four bedrooms. Avery and Nora have a Jack and Jill bath with a whirlpool tub. Each of their vanities are separate from their tub and commode, which is what Ashley wanted. They can leave Avery's tubes and supplies on her side and it will be so handy for them. I'll tell you more about it later but it seems that God has led them to this house because it fits so well for Avery.
ps.not the tub for Avery, but her room is straight across from Master BR & bath, and they can wheel her straight into the large walk in shower, just like they planned.
WHEW!!! it sounds as if you need to become triplets! I'm tired just reading about all you've been doing. Did miss you and was just thinking about you the other day. Good to know you are doing well; even if a wee bit busy.
Just a little bit-lol- I have 3 grand-daughters in pageants tomorrow and a grandson in a race. Pray for him as it scares me to death.
Great to hear from you as your life sounds most busy
Hi Toogie...you have been missed for sure...sorry you are having problems with your allergy..sounds like you are busier than a one armed paper hanger...nice that you are able to enjoy your family endeavors..Loved your baby duck/platypus and taggie blankies, too!
Thanks and I thought we were the only ones that used that expression!-lol- I guess in all things you have good with the bad..spring is here good, but pollen is BAD...for me anyway.
You have been missed. My goodness your family is keeping you busy. Please don't be a stranger. Keep popping in and keeping us updated. Give Avery a big hug from the Cuties.
Hi Karen. Speaking of Avery, I'll give you one guess at what Avery will be doing tomorrow.....give up?..Mom entered Nora in a local beauty pageant (fundraiser for the nursing home). She said she saw no reason why Avery shouldn't be involved too, so she is entered in the 8-9 year olds! Another place for me to go.-lol
