Hello Cuties, I heard some of you were asking about me and I am touched. Cuties are such sweet souls. This is what I wrote one that was asking. ..Sorry if my absence worried you but all is well. I have been more than a little busy. Work, life (lol) and when not keeping grandkids, I am going to their events... My daughter has to go to continuing education classes once a year. It is required by the state, in order to renew your license,to practice. It is a 3 day event,so I am more than ready, for it to not be 4 days!-lol-.. Another grandson started racing and while I would rather him not do this, he asked us to go to his first race, so off we went. I think I am too nervous to really enjoy, so I may not go again. It seems sooner or later, you will have an accident, and I rather not be there. He did do well for his first race. The first heat he placed 14th and the second he did better. He had to start in 8th position and came out 4th,although they only award 1st,2nd, and 3rd place... My daughter and SIL were going to build a house,on some family land we were giving them, but they got the bids in and cost is way too much. They have since found a house nearby, that seems to fit most of the needs Avery has, so are buying instead. This one is about 25 years old but has been recently updated, has about 900 sq feet more and about $100,000 less !...I have done very little sewing, but I did just post something, in Projects....I am suffering from pollen allergies at this time, but am better today. Hope all of you are well and it was kind of you to ask about me-Toogie

It's about to become even busier with the school year nearing an end and all of the activities involved in that. Your family is lucky to have you near and to have you participate in their activities. I know it's important to them and to you.

Yes, baseball season has started with Mason and Ty. Well Ty has been in traveling ball already and his sister is starting softball. She just finished basketball. I don't have to help with them but I may have to with Mason. You probably, are right there for yours too, so you know what I mean.

Thanks Sarah and yes Avery is well. I saw your Georgie's haircut, I think it is similar to Averys except Avery doesn't have bangs. It is a cute style for her too.

Laura, I think I can actually feel your hugs!-lol- Ashley did cry because she wanted to build on the family land. It's 121 acres, but we have 10 acres, they were going to build on. My husband had 11 siblings,so they each received 10 acres, when their parents died. They had done a lot of work to the property, readying it for building their dream home. She thought we may be upset that they considered buying a home instead. We told her nonsense. It was their life, their money, live and buy, what and where you want to. She said they have prayed for God to help them, lead them, and she says she hopes this is what He wants them to do. She knew about this house for a while, but it was priced high for this area, even with the updates/remodel. She didn't even consider it. The house didn't sell because of that, so after they got their new house bid in and it was high, this house lowered their price. She said it seemed like it was all falling into place, just for them. It's a little too much house for me, but then I don't have 3 kids at home. I just told her I hope when they were figuring out their loan note, that they also allowed for a housekeeper.-lol-she said they did!

They are just a little closer than they were. I think just by two miles, so now they are only 6 miles from us. We, her dad and I, just saw the inside of the house for the first time late this evening. It has large closets in all four bedrooms. Avery and Nora have a Jack and Jill bath with a whirlpool tub. Each of their vanities are separate from their tub and commode, which is what Ashley wanted. They can leave Avery's tubes and supplies on her side and it will be so handy for them. I'll tell you more about it later but it seems that God has led them to this house because it fits so well for Avery.

ps.not the tub for Avery, but her room is straight across from Master BR & bath, and they can wheel her straight into the large walk in shower, just like they planned.

WHEW!!! it sounds as if you need to become triplets! I'm tired just reading about all you've been doing. Did miss you and was just thinking about you the other day. Good to know you are doing well; even if a wee bit busy.

Hi Karen. Speaking of Avery, I'll give you one guess at what Avery will be doing tomorrow.....give up?..Mom entered Nora in a local beauty pageant (fundraiser for the nursing home). She said she saw no reason why Avery shouldn't be involved too, so she is entered in the 8-9 year olds! Another place for me to go.-lol
