Jo-Anns had these bags on clearance so my Mom picked up two of them and asked me to monogram them for my SIL and me. I think they came out nice... I'll enjoy mine!

I used my new magnetic SnapHoop for these (my first time), and it was much easier than any other way I could think of to hoop these. They are both a little left of center... I'm consistent! I'll call that the learning curve.

These bags you've done look lovely. Wondered if you"d please describe what type stabilizer you'd used with this hoop? Thanks for sharing your work. ~D

These bags are made of a stiff vinyl backed fabric. I didn't use any stabilizer at all.

The centering looks fine in the picture. I don't think anyone will notice if it's off but you.
I'm also intrigued about the snap hoop. Could you tell us more?

This Snap Hoop is a magnetic hoop that will work to hoop thick things. I originally bought it because I love to do towels, and want to try some fancy border quilting on some of the quilts that I make. It's by DIME, and was a bit pricey, but I just t

Thank you fro the information. I've seen ads for them, but I've also seen complaints about them letting the fabric slip out, so I wondered how it was working for you.

Yes indeed! I just took them over to my mom's home to show her. She was tickled pink with them, and smiled all over... can't wait to give my SIL hers.

wow they look great.... I have one in red & would very much like to do this. Did you take it apart to stitch out? If not how did you do this? TIA. ~hugs~

I didn't have to take it apart. I turned it inside out to do this and used the magnetic Snap Hoop to hoop it. I don't know that you can hoop this stiff stuff, so you'll have to figure out a way to float it and anchor it while embroidering, but once inside out, you have a good bit of "operating space".

I have an Innovis DreamMaker XE. I've had it about 6 months now, and learn more with every project I do.
