I just want to thank everyone for the kind words and prayers...my heart is so broken ... and the pain almost unbearable....this grandson of mine was such a ray of sunshine but took his own life after a severe struggle with depression...not in a million years did any of us seen this coming Thanks again

Nous avons eu la même expérience quand notre fils aîné a eu 20 ans.
Les médecins vont parler de médicaments pour endormir ses idées noires.

Notre fils devait être hospitalisé tellement c'était grave....
Mais je crois en Dieu et j'ai décidé avec mon mari de le mettre en convalescence dans une communauté charismatique avec beaucoup de jeunes, il était suivi par une infirmière chaque jour matin et soir et au bout de 15 jours, il avait repris goût à la vie. Il n'y a que l'amour que pour l'aider. J'espère ne pas avoir mal compris et je vous souhaite bon courage amitiés

Such a sad loss and I know you want answers. He was not thinking of you nor his parents when he did this. Depression focuses inward and he was only thinking of how miserable he was at that moment. We struggled with this as a family member attempted suicide three times in one week. He survived, improved with the help of medication and lived for many years. Nevertheless, we were left with all these tangled feelings of why and feeling abandoned, unloved.

w ish i could take your pain away but i can only pray for you and your family to struggle with depression is the most difficult thing in life to overcome because when you are in your dark moments nothing seems to make sense even if your family love you to bits

Yvonne I totally feel for you. It makes me so very sad and reminds me of a dear friend and of my cousin both of whom lost sons who took their own lives. Thanks for posting a picture of him.
