Your thread choices are fantastic! It gives the doily a lot of depth and vibrancy. BTW, those real roses are gorgeous too. Do you recall what the name of them is?

Thank you, Penny. That rose has been planted about 35 years ago, it's scented and its colour is apricot, but I don't recall its name, sorry.
