I ironed on a piece of stabilizer over the first towel and seam, so towel would not rip apart. unroll several towels, so you have room to work. I hooped a piece of soft and sheer, sprayed with temp spray. My hoop was big enough to lay whole towel in my hoop. I did my face in the center of top half of towel and my alpha in center of bottom half of towel. On my towel, the middle was 5-1/2 inches from top or bottom. I put a felt scarf with fringe in middle. Oh, creative! I've done TP, but have never even considered doing paper towels!! I don't know why either. :) I love your design. It would make a great quick gift, or a decoration at a gathering, or even a fun way to store extra rolls of paper towels. Love it!!
