One never knows what the day will bring when she gets up in the morning. And yesterday was one with a wonderful high. My older brother came home from a 3 day stint in the hospital thanks to a severe case of gastroenteritis. He is doing well. Then my husband and I were headed to the Emergency room last night about 5:30 because he was in severe pain. The low of the day. Yes, after 7 hours he was admitted for more testing. He is now home with an appointment to go back to the surgeon who removed his gall bladder. This is complication #3. Surprise, he has gall stones that will need to be removed. Remember his gall bladder was removed last June. Those stones throughout the previous 2 complications never showed up in all the previous MRIs. Interesting. I have now told my husband he has met his quota of complications and he is forbidden to develop another. The surgeon and Emergency Room staff (and his wife) need a break.

Ah Karen I am sorry to hear that there are still stones left behind. He must be in terrible pain. Hubs went through this too but only once after Gallbladder was removed. They were in his intestinal tract? He will feel better if they can blast them instead of passing them. Prayers for good answers. ~hugs~

How awful for you both. I can't believe they removed the Gall bladder but there are still stones left behind, where would they be hiding after all this time?? Hope it gets sorted out finally. It must be really painful. Hugs, Debbie

But when all is done he will feel sooooooooooooooo good. I had mine out and it sure made a difference in my life. When I ask the doctor what I should and shouldn't eat he ask what I have had. Well, I gave him a rundown. He laughed. If you can eat all that don't worry you can eat anything. So I do, making sure I get it before it eats me!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. He will get over it. Keep your spirits up, and his.

Complication number 3 IS interesting - at least they seem to have found the cause of his misery now - hope all goes well with his next op and he makes a very good recovery and that you stay fit and well to care for your patient.

I most certainly hope that he will feel better and no more trips to the emergency room. His dizzy wife has all she can handle. Hugs
