UpdatedL Christie has entered this piece in the Nancy Zieman stocking contest. Please vote for us! Thank you! Finally got the lace on. Christie and I did this one. 2 layers wool felt for each side. and a small applique area. The lace is store bought, however I think it is just so perfect. I think in the future I would look for FSL.

The lace at the top is perfect for this sock. Don't see lace anywhere else. I sometimes put fsl on fabric. Once the stabilizer is taken out, the fsl is soft and easy to work with.

Looks great with this lace, I wouldn´t make a FSL, it is a lot of work and with this type lace it looks beautiful too.
