So what are you doing when all your sewing machines are being serviced? I have decided to tidy up all my fabric boxes! Have done 24 of them in the last 2 days only about 30 left to do! But it is lovely to look at all those colours shades and textures! Maybe I don't have to buy anything this year! (And next year and the year after that!) But that would be boring! Hope my machines come back quickly!

It is so hard to match prints unless they come from the same maker.

I hope you have enough time to go through the 30 boxes left. I did that last year and am glad I did. I have made a lot during the year, but it hardly made any space in my containers, for the new fabrics I picked up.-lol- Sounds like you have as much as I do!

I organized my fabric as well. It took two days but I now have all of my fabric out of the totes and up on shelves so I can see what I have!

Looks great. I am afraid I needed 10 more shelves to get all my materials on to them (I have not told my husband That I am overflowing out of the sewing room into the bedroom Safely tucked in boxes under the bed!

That's funny! My husband found out about some hidden fabric during my project I am afraid. I started out asking for two shelves to be put up and then had to ask for four more on the other wall.

Last year I had both my machines in the shop at the same time and the ladies at the Viking store felt so bad for me they gave me a loaner-nothing short of the best, it was a Designer Diamond Royale!

It is too hot to do anything but lay under the air conditioner It is 44 degrees celcius ( about 120F) Must admit to roving the internet to see what designs I could buy

Lucky you! 3 degrees Celsius and sleeting here!

One extreme to the other, too hot to breathe, or so cold you freeze. Neither for me please.

I've gone through some magazines, cleaned out some files, drooled over my embroider designs played on here. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it! :P

Drooling over my embroidery files I do too and deciding which I am going to use this year. Too many to chose from! Or too little time!

I try to keep machine back so I can still embroider something. And that is easy enough to do with 3 machines. I try to use the time the machine(s) are stitching so when they are gone I switch to non embroidery projects.

That was my idea as well but they were both giving me troubles! So I decided that I would go for it!

I try to fill my time with organizing as well. The "empty spot" in my sewing room is still hard to look at though. I hope your machines are back home soon.
