Just click on the green flowers -- they turn orange when you have added a flower
1114I love the flowers they make me feel good & so I water the gardens of as many as I can & I also will randomly water through as many pages as I can just for the fun of it! I owe cuties so much for all you have done to help me get on with my life that watering & making your garden grow is my way of saying I am so thankful to all of you! My memory is not as good as it once was so remembering to go to Birthdays is something I am working on getting better at. I have a post it here to remind me of so many things lol. 299557The question is often asked, "How can you tell if someone posts and does not give flowers?"
Please see the pictures. The first one there are zeros. The second picture someone has gone in and given flowers since the first capture. It was not the one that last posted though as her comment would be a zero as you cannot give yourself a flower. It is possible to give flowers to some and not to other's. I gave one flower to the one I know always flowers Cuties comments to show you what it looks like when you have given a flower vs. when you have not.
All the 0's in the flowers show that several Cuties did not give flowers. There are other ways to tell when people routinely do not flower posts.
While flowers are not a required thing -- it is much like a smile or a hug. Neither are required as you say hello to a friend -- but they are sure nice to give and receive.
I will not flower those that Spam, advertise without permission, disparage this site, criticize the Projects or other Cuties. Beyond that -- I even give flowers to those that do not water the gardens of other Cuties. Although, sometimes it is hard to post (not to mention give flowers) from my phone.
Giving flowers is a simple, very quick and free gift. It only requires a moment of your time. These simple gifts are one of the things I like about this site. I don't have to spend a lot of time to cheer up a friend and I don't have to "like" the post to give a flower.
I am off to water some gardens.

57618I love giving flowers and always go down at least 14 if there are that many that have already commented. I think many are simply in a hurry and do not take the time. It gives me joy to give flowers to others, seems I have so little to give these days and these do not cost a thing/Lillian

When you comment, look at how many before you have only 0 flowers, you know by that all that is below the zero received no flowers from the above/Lillian

29801I am new, at least within the last year, and I don't have a clue about the flowers. I have clicked on flowers when I read a comment that I agree with but other than that I don't know when I am suppose to give flowers. Don't even know how I received the flowers I have.
I don't have a lot of time to waste as I am my husband's(age 88) caregiver so spend many hours taking him to Dr's appointments and just doing the necessary care giving. Plus this time of the year is our Craft Sales and I participate in three so am busy sewing, crocheting and knitting to make my product to sell which brings in a little extra money into the household. I do enjoy reading and seeing all the projects that are posted. When and if I have free time, I will try to read all the rules and regulations of the site.

Betty Its OK its just somehting that is left to say thank you so you are doing just fine. Being a full time care giver as well as running home and trying to keep a life of your own is very difficult. Doing the craft work helps keep you sane on the bad days. ( ask me how i know)
I lost my hubby last January and i still miss the fact that he is no longer there to give me hugs and praise me when i make something. As hard as the work is make sure you have some "ME" time worrying about wether you give a flower is not a rule breaker so just continue to do as you are doing its fine.
When you post something we give you a flower to saty we have read it so that you do not think it has not been noticed and also to say thank you and give you a feel good factor. Please just let us see what you are making so that we can be insired by your hard work. Hugs and a cyber kiss on both cheeks from me in absence of a flower

356I use flowers to mark the threads I have commented on, so I know which ones to go back to for another look. Sometimes, I just pick someone out and go back through their posts and shower them with flowers. I know that they are very important to some people. Personally, I like to see nice comments but I feel guilty that I don't have time to make that mamy myself.

234253I think it is a bit of both...and perhaps the time of year...sometimes it's just a quick visit and not enough time to flower everything...but I will say you can tell who isn't giving flowers by looking at the 0's that are under their comments...just sayin...it's a tell tale sign of who flowers and who does not...not sure some Cuties have even thought about that....
