Daughter in Guam requested patriotic dresses for the granddaughters (ages 7, 5 and 2). The girls love tiered dresses (they like to twirl in them). I matched the colors in the design to the fireworks on the material. Design is from Emblibrary

This makes me wish that my 3 girls were still young enough to dress up like this. They are all adults now, but I made most of their clothes when they were little. These are so cute - the girls will love them to bits. *4U

Shirley, I rediscovered the love of sewing with the birth of 1st granddaughter. I would make a couple of outfits each year for my children but with the GD's it is more like 5 or 6 per girl. I have so much fun sewing for them. Since I put a tag in the training pants I made for the two yr old she thinks I put ALL the tags in her panties. She is my avatar. She is "selecting" her favorite pattern.

Funny how GD's make you sew more isn't it. Daughters grow up and want to make their own clothes..

Thank you. I have asked my daughter to send pictures of the girls in the dresses. She never sends enough pictures in my opinion. :)
